What is the purpose of the financial planning process?

The purpose of financial planning is to provide you with two things:

  1. an in-depth analysis of your current financial situation, and...
  2. a general plan to help you pursue your future goals and objectives.

When we sit down to create your financial plan, our goal is to understand your hopes and dreams for the future, and provide you with a road map to get you from here to there. At Prosperity FInancial Group, we don't take shortcuts and we aim to provide a holistic approach to the financial planning process.

Why should I hire a financial advisor (or financial planner)?

Everyone knows that planning for the future is important, but few have the qualifications and experience to create a solid financial plan to help make your perfect future a reality. At Prosperity Financial Group, we want to be the team of professionals that help create your financial plan and be your financial coaches.

People at any age and any income level should be entitled to financial confidence, which is what we can offer. From helping with retirement and estate planning to assisting with college fund savings for your kids, Prosperity Financial Group will help you navigate your financial questions and create an individualized plan to fit your needs. If you are looking for a financial planner to work with you on a one-time consultation or simply would like a second opinion, we are happy to help.

If you are a business looking to help your employees get financial confidence, you have come to the right place. At Prosperity Financial Group, we also assist businesses in developing a company-wide retirement plan to address the financial goals of you and your employees.

Whether this is your first experience with a financial planner or you have talked with other advisors and haven't been happy with the information you received, we promise you will receive objective advice from our experienced team that specifically targets your goals and needs.

What should I bring to my first personal advisement meeting?

For your complimentary first meeting, we advise that you bring the following if possible:

  • Complete list of your assets and liabilities
  • Your financial goals for your short-term and long-term future/your personal financial planning profile
  • Your most recent tax return
  • Any life insurance statements you have
  • Any investment statements you have
  • Any 401(K) statements you have
  • Your spouse or significant other
  • Any questions that you have for your financial advisor

I’m already doing well financially and have substantial assets. Can you still help me?

Absolutely. We work with many clients who need more robust financial planning and advice. Whether your goals call for simplifying your affairs or beefing them up, we are the right team for you. If you’re happy with your plans and just want a second opinion, we can help with that too.

Is there a charge for the initial meeting?

Prosperity Financial Group does not charge any fees to prospective clients until they actually decide to become clients. In many instances, this has taken as many as three or four meetings and/or conference calls to discuss the client's needs and goals, as well as how we can assist them. You aren't charged for any of these meetings until you decide you want to work with us.

I would like to get started planning my financial future. Will you accept me as a client?

Absolutely. At Prosperity Financial Group, we realize that everyone has financial needs, regardless of your income level or net worth. We are proud to work with people from all types of financial situations, and we don't turn clients away because of any minimum income restrictions. Building wealth is a marathon, not a sprint; discipline is the key ingredient. We believe everyone has the capability to build the level of wealth they want, and we are the right firm to help you pursue those goals.  Contact us today and let's get started.

We also ask clients to keep an open line of communication with us when any life changes happen, like getting married or divorced, buying a new home, having a baby, getting a new job, or planning on starting your own business. These major changes can affect your financial goals and profile, and we want to make sure we are working towards the most up-to-date goals possible for your life.

How do you develop your client-specific financial plans?

To state it simply, Prosperity Financial Group uses the fundamental principles of building sound financial plans to mold an investment portfolio that caters specifically to each client's financial objectives. There can be no one-size-fits-all financial strategy when each client's current financial status and future goals are different. We align our recommendations for you based on your overall purpose for having a financial plan, which is to live the life you would like to live. Whether your goals are specific to your individual needs or encompass your company and all of your employees, we're here for you and we know what to do.

We cannot predict the future, so we believe the best way to analyze and position your investment portfolio for growth is by:

  • being well diversified,
  • studying current and historical investment trends to produce the best market analysis possible,
  • keeping your goals and risk tolerance factors in mind at all times,
  • and having patience.

We only want the best for you and your long-term financial future, and you can trust that we will do everything in our power to turn your goals into a reality.
